For me, writing never came easy, but I found that a way to combat this was to write even more. When my Co-Editor-In-Chief, Caroline, and I talked about splitting the role of Editor-In-Chief, we decided to split it in terms of design and copy, meaning that my main role was to create the design for the yearbook and my Co-Editor was in charge of the copy. While both of us work together with copy and design, this was an effective way to be able to split up the work. Although, in my first two years of yearbook, I made it one of my priorities to make writing a skill to improve on. Here I complied a few samples of my writing in the first two years on staff.
